Green Gold Group is seeking a laboratory assistant to join the team to support the extraction scientists in the state-of-the-art hydrocarbon extraction laboratory to in our North Brookfield location. The successful candidate is a dynamic, hardworking and reliable person, able to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to twist, stoop, reach, stretch, walk, carry boxes and perform repetitive motions

• Able to lift 25-50lbs; heavier weights with assistance.
• Able to climb and work on elevated platforms (not more than 5 feet high).

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Successful completion of CORI/background check

• Valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years related experience and or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Laboratory Experience highly preferred

An extraction laboratory assistant will perform laboratory maintenance and auxiliary tasks to assist in production of various cannabis concentrates and distillates.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Work with laboratory director and team to produce high quality concentrates.
• Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as vacuum ovens, filtration, rotovap, fume hood, and balances among others.
• Assist in product filling, packaging, and labeling.
• Keep accurate manufacturing records and follow SOPs.
• Clean and sanitize laboratory glassware, instruments and equipment.
• Follow compliance for tracking of biomass, products and waste.
