Salary:
Our lab assistant is responsible for supporting laboratory operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must have basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and policies to ensure safety.
Follow lab safety standards by using laboratory safety guidelines, using proper personal protection equipment, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness.
Document product specifications, SDSs, testing SOPs, and product formulations as directed.
Must know basic laboratory techniques and standard laboratory working environment equipment.
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and schedule service calls as needed
Clean and sterilize instruments, glassware, and equipment.
Ensure laboratory consumables and other supplies are maintained in stock
Meet with team members and support projects within areas such as R&D, GMP manufacturing, and customer operations
Support existing projects and leverage their problem-solving skills
Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Support research experiments and special projects as needed.
Qualifications Requirements
4-year college degree in science or a related field.
Minimum 6 months of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Education, License, Certification, or Preferred Qualifications
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Candidate must be highly motivated to learn, detail oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and to work semi-independently
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in cross functional teams
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that build effective working relationships with other team members.
Maintain professionalism and poise constantly, even when working under pressure.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.

Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
DocuSign, Zoho, Adobe, ChatGTP
Proficient with using common lab equipment
Work Environment & Mental and Physical Requirements
Comfortable to work in ISO 7 settings if needed
This job requires partial presence in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other common office equipment and accessories.
Ability to remain in a stationary position; move; operate and use required equipment; and reach items
Ability to move/transport up to 30 lbs., and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to communicate, converse with others, and exchange information
