Position Overview:
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for pre-engineered metal buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of PEMB systems, subcontractor coordination, material pricing, and customer communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, is highly detail-oriented, and consistently delivers professional estimates that support project success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of projects, including commercial, agricultural, and residential buildings.
  
• Review plans, drawings, and specifications to determine material, labor, and subcontractor requirements.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain updated pricing and availability.
  
• Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, and sales staff regarding estimates, assumptions, and exclusions.
  
• Maintain organized records of quotes, pricing data, and project files in QuickBooks Online, HubSpot, and other company systems.
  
• Anticipate potential cost or scheduling issues and proactively address them.
  
• Ensure all estimates reflect the quality, professionalism, and standards of the Muleshoe brand.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience estimating construction projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of pre-engineered metal building systems, foundations, and erection processes.
  
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, HubSpot, and Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus.
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
